Effective immediately, the putty used on Franklin Fueling Systems fiberglass sumps has changed from blue to a natural gray/brown.
(You may still receive blue putty from existing stock.) This natural putty will help the installation process as it will change in color when catalyzed and mixed thoroughly. When it is uniformly mixed, the new putty changes from a light pink to a gray/brown color with no color streaks. You will notice this color change at joints on fiberglass sumps that come pre-assembled at the Franklin Fueling Systems factory and in the FIBERGLASS-KIT used to install entry boots or TMA/TD tank sumps.
